I like the fact that I can interchange the wheels between my EVO [yeah, I own one, start stoning me now if you want] just so I don't look at the same wheels all the time. I know 18x10 will fit on my EVO just fine with a roll and just seeing if it is the same case on the STI. I did tons of reading, research, and asking questions and 18x10 seems like a gray area - no one wants to touch that.

So, this is my question. I'd like to put 18x10s on the car but be able to turn and not rub to oblivion. I don't mind rolling the rears and even pulling VERY slightly [not about to go get body work to fit nice, wide wheels]. If I did end up going 18x10, what offset will I need to both clear my Brembos, not hit the struts in the rear, and fit with very little modification? I know I can go 18x9.5 without an issue so I figured I'd give this a shot. The car will be lowered on either KSport or BC's - whichever will achieve good ride quality and still get me low to the ground. If this isn't your flavor, please just ignore this post and stop reading. If you want to help, I appreciate it greatly.

I really like the Work Emotion CR Kiwami and Enkei NT-03's. I wanted Emotion XD9's but after seeing how many people use them, I decided I want something nice and concave or something with a decent lip that isn't the price of a vacation to the Bahamas.

Any and all help will be appreciated. Any and all flaming will be ignored.

I'll put it this way: I can teach you or I can just give you the answer. Which do you think is more effective? I'm not giving you ****, I'm putting the onus on you since it's your car you're asking about. I took the time to learn, I'm providing information so you can do the same.

Everything that you have questions about has already been answered before. You could find your answer simply by searching. You could find your answer even quicker if you understand the basic concepts. The best part is that you could help people in the future with the GR and '11+ WRX chassis since I don't own one.

From what I see, only 2 people, who understand how wheel/tire fitment work, take time out their own schedules to help: myself and sc00by4life. Neither of us get paid to do this ****. There are other members that understand but it's usually he and I that are answering and it gets really really really tiring answering the same basic questions which could easily be answered by looking through a couple threads.

All I want is for people to take some responsibility and initiative.

And to answer your question, I took time out of my day to search "18x10 +38 2011 WRX" and not a single post mentions anything about rubbing inside. I knew the answer without searching because I understand how offset works but decided to search just to let you know that the answer is easy to find. I even gave you a helpful link and a clue with which you could've found your answer.

@nhat....

Now that was one of the best replies I've ever had in any forum ! Loved everything about it

If only you had worded your first reply differently I wouldn't have taken it the wrong way .... No harm no foul tho ....
Maybe something along the lines of
"Hey , here's a link I found useful , read over it and I'm sure you'll find your answer here .... And to answer your question , no , you'll be fine..."

Done deal , thanks for the info, I woulda never found the link on the 100 pages in this thread and there's no search function within a thread to help ..... At least not on the app .... Thnx again

I see a "Search this thread" link at the top that you may find helpful ... but that is on a regular PC browser.

To access the search in the app, you must pull the page down while at the top of the page. It's there. It can't be accessed in a thread though.

Yeah man thanx , I know I can search on the app
But it does suck that I can't search within a thread ..... And I don't have access to a desktop which blows even more ...

Did you even look dude.

18x10 +38 with a 255/35R18, Coils, Rear Control Arms, Front Camber Bolts, Roll on all 4 corners and maybe a slight pull and you will be good to go.

Sorry for spoon feeding the troll but maybe he'll go back under his bridge now.

That was dope dude , I like what you did with the google search function ....
Sure ,with the right amount of work you can fit anything anywhere ....
In terms of stance and appearance yeah it'll fit fine .... But for those weekend warriors , it's too close for comfort ....

How exactly is it too close for comfort? It's not an issue on my GD with coilovers and your chassis has more room inboard and outboard. Are you being purposely ignorant?

Thanks nhat and you are right I will definitely need to get the rears rolled for sure!

In a few months you guys will get to see pics of evo mr wheels on my Sti.

Post pics right away. Your going to need some generous amounts of camber to make that thing work.

Here you go. This is after installing coils. I just ordered a set of rear camber plates, and scheduled my boy to roll my fenders. Front camber plates and bolts are maxed out.
