Default 2011 STI limited; Plasma Blue or WR blue

WR Blue and Plasma Blue owners,

I'm in process to special order and upgrade to 2011 STI limited, got a great deal already but can't decide between the 2 colors.
Been looking at hundred of pictures for both cars but the more I see the more I can't decide. Wished I can afford to buy both

I think the WR blue is definitely a signature color and the WRX is a perfect car for it.

The Plasma Blue is also an awesome color as it "reacts" to different lighting condition. And I don't see that many around Vancouver-Portland metro area.

Therefore I'm hoping to hear from people that are luckier (and more decisive) than me for their input.

Thanks

plasma blue is different.... clean/sunny, it's very purplish.... in the shade, it's more a dark blue... i like it on my wrx (we get it in canada on the wrx).

if you look in 2011 impreza beyond thread i posted some of my pics on 2nd page / direct sunlight (back in august).

this is recent pic

Robin2> Nice pictures.

My wife is driving a 09 Fit sport with similar color (called Blackberry Pearl) and I like how it's almost black at certain lighting condition and then turn purple when hit more light.

Arrgh why is it so hard to decide.

in the end it won't matter. you're going to wish you had picked the other one, from whichever one you pick. I've been in this boat and I always seem to long for the other color I didn't pick : )

I have a a WRB sti and I love the colour but kind of wish I had silver or white as the blue is hard to take care of--always shows dirt and water spots----so that being said the plasma blue is even darker so I can imagine it will be more of a pain in the arse to keep clean

Just had my WRB order come in a few days ago... it is sex. I think it is the best color, before White. BBS wheels will look different though, I went with base model since I didn't care for the BBS'.

^ Red? ha ha if he wants to get pulled over for every little thing I bought my base in WRB and it is gorgeous!! I saw a Plasma Blue Pearl at my local dealership 2 months after I bought mine, and I must say it is more on the purple side... I actually liked it ALOT! It is very rare and unique I think. WRB is still the classic color choice IMO for the WRX or STI. In the end....which ever one you pick that day will be awesome nonetheless

plasma blue doesn't look as sharp when its all dirty (like the one parked outside my driveway now with all the salt on it x_x). But when it is clean...omg!! TOO NICE

They get wrb for the 2.5i as well

But back on topic it depends, if you want a more unique color go for the plasma.. but wrb is a signataure color, at least thats how I see it as

Thanks for the input everybody.

I considered SWP and lightning Red in the beginning but decided not to get white since it will look dirty all the time with the weather here. Red looks awesome too but I got confused when looking at the back (looks like everything is 1 piece ). Might be a plus for people that like that look though

I'm leaning more toward Plasma Blue now.

After seeing both in person, plasma blue.

If they had the old subaru blue from prior years I'd prob go with that. New one is too light.

What exactly makes it a limited? Is it just an option package? Limited to how many they can sell?

^^^Ability to have the sunroof... but I don't think it's as exclusive as what the 07s were... Also different seats too i think. . don't quote me on that one
