yeah, I was making sure it wasn't just a typo as mismatched tires sizes = different rolling diameters = unhappy diffs.

I heard that only applies if you had a 225/40/18 on the left rear and a 245/40/18 on the right rear. I don't know who would do that thou.

it'll do it across any differential...that's why they differentiate speeds. However always differentiating make viscous diffs pop, mechanicals burn up clutch packs and open diffs just cook oil.
