Default Problem with car

Hey guys just a quick question and I'm pretty sure someone here will know. I just installed a sub and amp on my friends 06 Toyota 4Runner. The install was great and works, but then for some reason my friends power outlet (cigarrette charger), and the back windshield defroster wiper won't work. I'm not sure what's going on. Does anyone have any idea if it has to the with the install? I'm going to see if I forgot to plug in something when I look at it later today.

Yeah I checked them and they all seem to be fine. I have no clue what's going on since I'm not very familiar with a 4Runner.

I'm assuming you pulled the dash apart to attach the amp to the back of the CD player. This usually entails pulling the wire from the back of the cigarette lighter so you can pull the "face" of the console out. Did you make sure to plug that wire back in? If so, follow that wire to make sure it didn't accidentally get unplugged, frayed, etc. on the other end. Also, check your grounds. That is the cause of about 80% of most electrical problems.

Yeah I pulled it apart and attached the amp to the back. I'm thinking I might have not plugged the wire back in. I won't be able to know until class is over later tonight. I'll make sure to follow the wire as well. I will update later if I'm running into problems again.
