Thumbs up The Forum Wars: NASIOC vs EvoM, now playing....

Filmed at Royal Purple Raceway back in January, I represented NASIOC on a television show called "The Forum Wars: Season 2", 2011 Subaru STI sedan of Gillman Subaru Southwest in Houston vs EvoX from EvolutionDynamics in Dallas.

This commercial is airing now on SPEED Channel--

The mini-episode will go live on Friday, April 15 at 12:01am....full episodes scheduled later in the year.

(space reserved for mini episode link)

Enjoy!

They were pretty similar...the Evo made probably 50 more hp, launch control, and slightly wider tires. Otherwise, they were pretty close. Restricted to street tires. It was a good time, we were on set from 6am until around 10:30pm, they were going to film over two days but there was a nasty storm coming the next day, and would not be able to use the drag strip in the rain.

The 2011 STI that I was driving when we filmed is white. The 2011 WRX that I currently own and race is blue. There is indeed some confusion .

Car was making 9-12psi during the drag event (less than stock!), PatrickL and weathergrl worked on it all morning and it was at least making stock boost, if not better, for the autocross and slalom events.

Well, lets be honest, he was just beaten a "little bit" on the autox

Well done and congrats!
