Default First time run w/4EAT

This is not to report any record breaking news. I just wanted to share what I ran. This is just an FYI for people who might want to know or compare their time to. I did better than I thought I would have done. Almost the same as a stock manual trans.

60' 2.186
ET 14.889
MPH 90.62

My mods:

Vishnu Stage 0
ScoobySports Downpipe and 3rd Cat Eliminator
Samco I/C hoses
Stock T/C

I can't wait to do the T/C upgade. Maybe I'll be a solid 14 second car.

There ya go!! You got a wed car by far!

Yeah... get the stall converter and a good tranny cooler with quality synthetic oil (I use Amsoil) www.projectwrx.com/amsoil You'll find the 1.8 60ft's coming very fast then. Also that'll easily bring you down to the low 14's.

Bravo!

Jorge,
Thanks for the advise for the trans cooler. I do have one installed and will change to synthectic when I swap out the T/C.

IgotWRXed,
Boost set @ 14.5 PSI and wth the stock T/C I could only get to about 2,800 RPM's. This was run with 225/40R18's. I might try with the stock wheels and tires to see if there is any differance.

hmm interesting times to say the least. you should set the boost a tad higher for track, say 16psi maybe even 16.5, and then set it back to normal for driving around. i would be interested to see what times would be like at 16psi~ and a full launch. just messing around, have you ever gotten up to the full brake torque? im sure more boost and a full launch(in boost) would drop times more.
