Default South Ontario WRX pi$$ing people off?

I'm beging to suspect there's a WRB WRX somewhere in the Golden Horseshoe area that is making lots of people angry.

For a while now people have been yelling thing at me from their cars, and not the usual ''Cool Car!!", but things like "a$$h#le!!".

Then this morning some guy on the QEW gives me the finger, I reply with the "what are you talking about" hand gesture, to which he looks more closely and replies with the "Sorry not you" hand gesture.

Anyone else experience similar behaviour?

Sorry to here your trouble.

I grew up in Hamilton, left in 97 for Winnipeg for work. What part of Hamilton do you live in? I grew up on the west mountain.

I grew up one block west of Gage Park, then moved to Halifax for 6 years, now I'm back living just west of downtown, near Hess Village

I'm thinking of getting some stickers or lights or something to distinguish myself.

Speaking of which, I dropped by 'VRD Racing" in downtown Hamilton ( on King near Century ). Where 5 months ago thay had nothing for the WRX, now they're getting more and more stuff all the time.

I assume the same is true for most perfomance shops.

Do these guys have a website to see what kinds of parts they carry?

I live in Kitchener and could make a scoot over to Hamilton every now and then to buy some goodies.

VRD Racing seems to be more appearence oriented with some perfomance parts, there are two more similar shops on "the Mountain", and one perfomance oriented shop on Parkdale (they a turbo-back exhaust months ago).

That all I can remember off the top of my head. I'll get more info over the weekend; address, phone, etc...

One on Parkdale is Northern Performance (uh, sorry, it's nor Northern Motorsport). Usually 9-5, and maybe half-day Saturday, I don't remember.

In all honesty though, anything major I'd order from Lachute or something of the like. Ship to your door, good price.

Ok, enough thread hi-jacking, I want to know who that WRX is, and am curious if he's on here???

I know of one ******* wrb WRX in the GTA.

Its a guy and he's normaly encountered on his way to Newmarket up the 404.

I work in Newmarket, but live it Etobicoke. Most of the people at my work know I live south, and assume this jackass is me (except I come up the 400)

I've gotten phonecalls at work, and notes on my car from people this jackass has pissed off. It got so bad I was worried someone was gonna key me, so I sent out a company memo.

A friend of mine was run off the road by this jerk.

Recently I got a set of UK golds, so people are now finaly realizing that its a totaly different car and the misplaced complaints have pretty much stopped. Its a bugger, cause I've had at least 15 people come up to me in Newmarket in an attempt to tell me off.

I know where the prick works too, I might share my collection of angry letters with him someday, or maybe just tell his fan club where to find him.

I've never encountered him myself, and I can't say I'll know him when I do, because there are alot of WRB WRX's going up and down the 404 it seems. The only reason I know where to find him was because the friend of mine he cut off followed him the next time he saw him.

From what I'm told, this guy always drives like a prick, so its only a matter of time before darwinian evolution rids us of this menace, hopefully without harm to inocent bystandards.

This is excatly what I was thinking!!

This is what happens when people beleive they have a race car. I would never buy a blue subaru (although they do look good). They seem to think they're a rally driver because its the same car as in the WRC.

That's what he should do, before he kills someone or someone keys your car because he did not notice that your wheels are different...
