These were the good times of hip hop. Todays stuff sucks. And if it isn't terrible 92.5 will play it 4000 times and you'll get sick of it.

The mainstream rap music of today sucks ass. But there are a plethora of good underground groups that put out impressive music.

As a college radio DJ for the last 8+ years, I can attest to the fact that there are many groups and individuals out there making excellent music. I'm playing some right now on my show, for that matter.

Hip hop is far from dead, it's just not appreciated on a mainstream level - it's not as marketable. For me, there's something about hip hop that when it doesn't take itself too seriously that it really is worth listening too.


That's one of those WTF groups, but it's hilarious.
