Hey all, great thread. Looking at a spot on the rear of my Hatch for a camera.
What is this? It might be a bit of work to access though.

But looks like a good spot for a camera.

I think that's the rear hatch window sprayer.

Can anyone verify whether or not SAT works on the Euro version?

A lot of great info here... I wonder if all the new Subaru head units are that user friendly and customizable.

Hmm.. That could be a show stopper. I'm currently not listening to Sirrius anymore and using mostly Spotify and Pandora via BT.

That is correct -- none of your steering wheel buttons will work properly. 2 or 3 buttons might do different functions.

See this post (#42 in this same thread), and also posts #44-49 after that.

Someone has confirmed that you can simply swap in this part (2011-up SWC pod):
The volume and tune buttons will work, but the MODE button will not work.

Ok, so Sat wont work and I'm also going to loose the steering wheel controls?

I guess I need to find a US model.

Installed the CP635U1 Radio today. It is a dramatic improvement over the stock radio. I am very happy with the purchase.

Just installed, looks much better than the original unit

Now to hook up the rear view camera; the guy that sold it to me included the camera from his XV Crosstrek and the plug that goes into the head unit. I need to figure out which wires map to what so I can link them up.

on the HD radio equipped models can you toggle the HD function on and off?

also, with the HD models can you still tune into 87.7 or does it change?

There have been a few for sale here on the forums. Some very overpriced ($400), but I got mine for $215.

I don't believe you can toggle HD on or off. It's on if there's an HD signal, analog if there's not.

which model do you have? can yours tune 87.7 while on HD radio?

EDIT: To clarify, I understand that not all stations are broadcast in HD and that some will and won't have this feature, I'm just wondering if you can indeed toggle the HD function on or off if it changes what range the radio has as far as frequency.
