It doesn't rub during hard cornering when its just me in the car (It might if I have people in the back seat, but I keep the hard cornering to a minimum with a full load of people). I could roll the rear even more than I did, but I was concerned about trapping dirt and salt in there during the winter and not beaing able to rinse it out if I had closed up the gap between the fender and the fender lip too tight by rolling them further. I'd probably go with a 255 next time around to keep it from rubbing... but I got a great deal on closeout 265 wide Rt-615s so I went that route this time.

I am debating between 255/40 and 265/35. It looks like I will have to roll the rears either way. I would rather have Dunlop Star Specs but they make these in 265/35 and not 255/40. If I went with 255/40 they would be Advan AD08. Hard decision.

That's kinda disapointing that the 9.5's rub on stock suspension if you got some weight in the back. Other people said that it didn't rub at all. I suppose it depends on your tire as well. Maybe a 255/35-18 would work.

Has anyone seen a 255/35-18 on a 18x9.5 rim? I'd like some pictures just to see if it looks rolled.

Just to be clear, it's not the WHEEL that rubs, it's the TIRE. A 265/35R18 MAY rub in the back if you don't roll the fenders -- it depends on the tire and your car. A 275/35R18 WILL rub in the back if you don't roll the fenders. A 255/35R18 probably will NOT rub at all, although I don't have first-hand proof of this yet.

A little, but it's not bad. Just imagine halfway between the 245s and the 265s shown...

As a matter of fact, here are some 245s now:

2009 WRX, 245/40R18. Lowered on BC coilovers. Front fender liners trimmed. -2.5 degrees camber.

the -2.5 degree camber spec is for the rear. the fronts are -1.5.
