You won't break the overall td04 record from Colorado, elevation takes too much of a hit on power. (I'm here too). I don't know what the CO td04 record is, but that would be something to realistically go after! But dyno numbers really don't mean much without a weight and trap speed to back it up.

Can't find anything other than someone from 08' saying their 226whp is the current....which doesn't seem hard to beat :/ and I'm going after td04 HP first, I'm not much of a drag person it's a DD lol

Dyno numbers mean ZERO. You can tell a dyno to read whatever it wants. It can put out 200whp. Add a 30% correction factor to it. Bam, 260 whp. See what I mean? All dyno's read differently.

Trap speed is a better indicator of power.

Mine trapped 112 at sea level at 3200 lbs. I think it dyno'd around 285 with correction factors applied and around 240 without. Considering the trap, the 285 seems more in line.

My old Tim Bailey TD04 2.0L tune made 247whp/276wtq on a mustang FWIW
trapped around 106-108 IIRC

I dont think there is a "claimed" colorado TD04 record. Unless its just local forum bragging rights

So I get a tune, do a few runs and that'll determine how accurate my synonym numbers are? An I getting this correct?

I am here in CO too, with a EJ205 and TD04 at 240whp/240tq on the Boostcreep's dyno

I have always been curious about max a TD04 on a 2.0l would do...

Bandimere is a good place to seperate the BS from what's real. And they have a scale so you can make accurate HP claims after you make some runs...

For Dyno numbers, I was pushing 256hp and 315 tq on a Mustang before I swapped out to a 16G. I was not maxxed out, that was on stock internals, internal WG, no cams, no headwork, stock intake manifold. It was on E85 though, I love that stuff.

I'm pretty sure someone with cams and EWG posted around 280 at one point on an EJ255. j

Who cares what it dynoed at. I wanna see someone take out that 12.3 1/4 time. I was shooting for it with my old car until the inevitable happened :P

Think the record is 12.40@109 in a gutted 02 wrx and it spun a bearing.. Oppositelock went a 12.43@112mph in a full weight 04 wrx.

Oh I thought it was a 12.3 My bad. Either way someone needs to attempt it again!

I really wanted that record too lol. Just needed a clutch and I would have been in contention. Maybe I'll attempt it again in a year or so

I made 250whp here in california with 91 knocktane gas and only simple bolt ons

Invidia Down pipe
Invidia up pipe
Sti intercooler
Grimmspeed lightweight crank pulley
Perrin turbo inlet
Samco intercooler hoses
HKS cat back
Stock td04 with just over 100k miles

Mitch at SoCal COBB got me better numbers than I expected.

Im sure someone would just swap out the internals of it with that upgraded setup using the td04 housing, claim the record and be done.

When I was out at cali speedway / fontana doing my good runs, there was this orange slicked srt-4 trash talking, doing his 11.7's or whatever saying come look everyone stock turbo, lol

to me 12.40-.43 sounds pretty damn good for that small of a turbo on a 2.0, we should hear from a gc or a 2.5l to hear if they could do better

So it shouldn't break 12.00 if its stock TD04 morale of the story, but the record is 12.4

correction factor 1.150.....271.01 peak TQ....bone stock top mount, td04, and injectors....91 knocktane California "fuel"....hit a brick wall with stock MAF.....car doesn't knock one bit, but will not go past this number on this dyno.....but the timeslips show I am only 1/10th off most of the confirmed "stage 2 STi's" in my group....I guess the 12k of drivetrain mods and chassis mods paid off....either that or those SCCA qualifier classes.....*shrugs*

Life is a dynamic feeling.....not a static number that a computer spits out, on any given day....car feels fast....then again my butt dyno is a big fat liar....

Oh before anyone calls me out....throw 315cc/min of water/meth on that ..... details

I have no idea if anyone has ever beaten that 1/4 mile record, but here is a video of a stage 2 SH FXT running 192whp/351wtq on 91oct out in Plano, TX (fairly low/accurate reading mustang dyno). I am getting ready to play around with my SH FXT to see how much I can actually get out of the TD04 on 93oct as well as E85.

...obviously, the 192whp isn't very impressive, but the 351wtq IS...I personally have 2 people making around 240whp/320wtq on 91oct tunes with EJ255 wrx's...

Here is the official list.
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...0#post13033510

That is first I've heard that anyone on it spun a bearing. My car is still running great and has more power since then.
