I really looking forward to the improve handling that'll be on the way shortly. Then I get to add some more power and a beefier trans (plus 4.44 fun )

I may be buying a built 2.5 SB form a guy in L.A. or getting a stock 2.5 SB and having E.Q. machine the heads. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...81422&page=122 I have some pics posted here

Sweet! I'm doing paint last and it kind of scares me because my GF lives in DC. In DC, people suck a parallel parking. I already have one bumper showing damage from it
...there are no garages near here.

Dropped off my gear stack with a buddy to get torn down. Once I get them back, they're off for cryo and REM treatment.

Currently hunting for boxes to ship my struts to Odi.

Updates from the weekend.

1.) The AC leak is worth that I thought. The system was already drained, so tossed another can in before my 5 hour trip home.
2.) Kids that have had their license for 3 days shouldn't drive their dad's Tundra and try to park at 7-11 as they tend to hit bugeyes

So now I get to call insurance and get this crap all sorted. Might just go ahead and paint the whole car, on top of the work they'll be doing.

ok well an unfortunate event has occurred...think the old beat to hell EJ205 just spun a bearing. Gonna check oil and I'm bummed my new rods haven't arrived yet and the used Kelfords are still at my friends machine shop.

With that said the only spare complete engine I have is my 2.43 long rod engine...

Doooooood! Sounds like a good time to upgrade. What turbo would you use for the long rod?

Nevermind I just saw that it's a 35R. Sweet! Oh and I had to laugh when you said a dd with a little power 350-400whp since I'm dreaming of stock wrx power right now.

yah think so?

I'd fill it with refrigerant, and make sure you get UV dye in there so you can spot the leak. Don't try to do it yourself, this is a job for an A/C tech.

Well if it goes in, it would only be in for a quick break in and to see how an evo 8.6 16G hates lift

I already have heads, cams, rods, pistons and a block for it's actual engine.
