Default New Turbo inlet Hose From PERRIN Performance

Always Trying To Innovate And Improve Our Products We Have Done It Again

Introducing The NEW Turbo Inlet Hose From PERRIN Performance
MSRP $229.99

Used for years in Aerospace and medical equipment, silicone is now seeing a resurgence as a durable and superior material in performance motorsports. Silicone technology allows us to design a turbo inlet hose that is better in all aspects than the OEM part and increases your engines horsepower.

Smoother Air Flow To Turbo
The PERRIN inlet hose is perfectly smooth on the inside and has a significantly larger internal diameter than the OEM part. The increased air flow by removing the pleats found in the OEM hose makes more horsepower, decreases turbo spool time, and improves acceleration.

SS Internal Support Wire Special Feature!
The PERRIN inlet hose is reinforced with a stainless steel support wire that is embedded within the silicone layers. The support adds rigidity to the hose and prevents collapse when used with restrictive filter elements and large turbo applications running extreme amounts of boost.

Blow Off Valve Connection NEW!
The PERRIN inlet hose has a machined aluminum insert which is bonded into the layers of silicone, giving you a solid blow off valve hose connection and makes installation go even easier.

Large High Flow Spigots
All spigots on the PERRIN inlet hose are 1/2"ID for maximum flow from crank case vents and other vacuum connections. All connectors used on our hoses are glass reinforced nylon (rated to 400 degrees F) which will withstand engine bay temps found from normal driving to extreme racing conditions.

I ordered one of these a early last month. By any chance, does it have all these nice new features that I read here? How'ever the case, still pretty excited about being able to install this. Also, would be nice to see a real installation video vs the time-lapse, stop motion one that is currently available.

Thanks

Thanks. I actually purchased a 2008 Wrx version. Anything new/different with that model? Updated installation?

I ordered a MAF hose with this Halloween deal. I'm very excited and looking forward to installing it with my Turbo Inlet hose.

if the Perrin keeps the maf side the same size then it should, since the cobb wraps around the factory inlet hose. I just wanna be 100% sure before I buy the Perrin and be stuck waiting for another part.

Ah. Ok. Definitely a PERRIN question.

Just to help others out Perrin replied to my pm and the answer to my question is:

"You do not need an adapter to connect it to the Cobb hose. The Turbo Inlet Hose will come with everything you need"

Good to know

I just ordered one of these directly from Perrin. I'm looking into the install some more, and it seems like people are removing the PS hard line in order to gain more clearance.

a) Is this necessary? It is not mentioned in Perrin's published installation instructions.

b) If I do remove the PS hard line, do I need to be concerned with fluid draining out? Or is this line dry when the engine is off?

There seem to be some people having issues with this piece, but I'm hopeful that the 'new' updated hoses will fit with no problems.

I'll post my results regardless.

thanks.

L.F.O.D.
Installation/Fitment of the Perrin Turbo Inlet will be slightly different than what nolant's would be. He has an 02 WRX and you have an 08 WRX.

Part number for the 08 WRX is: PSP-INT-421BK
Part number for the 02 WRX is: PSP-INT-401BK

08 WRX's don't have the Power Steering line running above the Turbo Inlet like the 02 WRX's do.

I have yet to install my turbo inlet because I'm waiting for a few more parts to come in before I get a custom tune and what-nots... but I've heard from a few people that installation on our year WRX's is somewhat less complicated than pre'08 WRX's.
