Damn, that's cheap! I looked there a while back before I went through SPO to get my header, and Borla had them for like $700.

So they're STILL $309!! It says though that it's for 1991-2000 2.5's. Anyone know if it will work on a 2002 2.5? Oh I hope it does!!!

I know, do a search.

I remember seeing a few images of the different header and exhaust system options. Anyone have the picture of the borla or know of a thread off hand that shows it?

If it works on a 2000 there should be no problems fitting it to a 2002.

I think they must have dropped the price recently. About 2-3 weeks ago I was one here and it was at the higher 400+ price.

I was so excited about this. I was ready to jump all over it.
I just saw an image of the borla headers, those arent that great. Actually Im very turned off by them.

You would be better off reading this link

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=215735

629 for the headers

Check out the collector

These are equal length with some very cool engineering behind them, check out the info on the manufacturers page.

Twice the cost though... It is a better design but for most people if it is twice the cost then they will deal with a difference of a few HP...

But they are Very nice looking headers...

Hmmm....this is from their site:

FACTORY DIRECT. 6 - 8 WEEKS DELIVERY NORMALLY, BUT DUE TO HIGH DEMAND, WE'LL LET YOU KNOW IF YOUR ORDER WILL BE BACK-ORDERED LONGER.

That's a long time to wait. Most companies ship parts withing a few days. Maybe that disclaimer is just to cover their ass.

Odd that they would go with the cat in the stock location. That exhaust system is a full replacement...why not straighten the bends out? They are already replacing the cat anyway...

Odd.

Must be a reason though.

Also, I'd prefer a flange fitting for the pipes instead of a sleeve type. It's just a bit easier to deal with. And....a flex point of some sort.

I'd say combine the great collector with the straightness of an MRT and you'd have the perfect header. I bet that one has a more Borla type sound to it too.

Just buy that header and get your own custom header back system.

The only reason I could see why they would keep the stock locations is so it would work with all the other cat backs and cat replacemnts out there. I think it is a smart idea business wise.

Aww crap! I just ordered mine about 3 1/2 weeks ago and got them 2 weeks ago and installed them along with my borla cat back. Could've save over $140. Damn it!
