Smile Well, I'm finally stepping up... Maybe a new record contender

Hey guys, I guess this is my "official" buildup announcement. My car is at CTC Motorsports in Dallas, Texas undergoing heart surgery. It will be done and roughly tuned on Tuesday or Wednesday and dyno tuned on August 2nd at Cobb. It's too bad that Cobb is leaving Texas though, we will be loosing a good resource. But we have CTC and we will soon have a new 4 wheel dyno to take Cobb's place. Here are some pics of the mods before they were added to the car. Right now most of the stuff is installed, turbo mounted etc... I had a chance to take some pics of the turbo installed, so I will post them later.
Unfortunatly I didnt have a chance to get pics of the TGV port job, but it was awesome! The butterflies and motors were removed, the holes welded upand the bottom half of the manifold that houses the TGVs ported to match the top half.
Anyway, if anyone has any questions, feel free to ask!

Here's the mod's list:
*T3/T04S
*MRT front mount kit
*Cusco exhaust manifold
*Tial 40mm external wastegate
*modified up-pipe
*custom downpipe
*Sti injectors
*300xz TT fuel pump
*Perrin dual feed fuel rail kit
*custom 3" intake pipe -no MAF
*upper I/C piping modded to fit larger turbo
*GFB pulley kit
*Sti engine and tranny mounts
*Stoptech 13" big brake kit, front and rear stainless lines

not pictured:

*Defi EGT, fuel press., oil press gauges and hood
*Link engine management
*MRT master cylinder support bracket
*Zero Sports cool radiator

and probably other stuff I can't think of...

This is a custom turbo that CTC spec'd out for a friend's Silvia. It had good response for such a big turbo and produced 420whp on his setup with similar mods, with the exception that he was running 72lb. injectors and running way too rich. Unfortunatly I'll just be running the standard STi injectors, so I guess we'll see what happend on the dyno.

This is a T3/T04S with a 56 trim compressor and .63 A/R custom turbine housing. (The Honey Bun and dollar bill are for size reference)

WOW - nice project !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope it works out very well - can't wait to see your results

I caution you that the 63 a/r turbine housing was very late to spool on my sti - - it took till almost 5,600 - - (but its sure easy to sawp it out one you get the pipes in!!))

Best of luck !

PS - soon you will feel that crazy feeling of insane power !!!! Be carful and watch the injector duty cycles - thats you real limitation now

Default more pics

Went by CTC today and the ETA on my car being ready to rough tune is monday. These guys are awesome, they have been working their a**es off to get this think going and their craftsmanship is second to none!

The filter in the pic is just temporary because I'm waiting for the blitz sus filter. I will be running no MAF, so the MRT filter and MAF adapter will be for sale
