The 1.5 is the best stock location turbo option for our cars. Spools like stock and makes great power. If you want more power than that...go rotated.
I just want to run one map honestly. The closest E85 station is about an hour away, more than I am willing to drive. Probably be able to get close to the same numbers out of meth and if done right should be just as safe/reliable, plus can go with lower CC injectors and stick with the 65c I just bought.

Looks great! Powerband looks very similar to my car, but the top end looks a little better. Do you have a boost plot?

I don't know if it spools like stock, but I do agree on the rest. Probably the best stock location option, IMO. If you need more, rotated is the way to go.

If E85 isn't available/convenient, then running pump gas is probably a better choice. Trying to switch back and forth it less than ideal.

With this setup, I am running 2 to 10 degrees hotter than ambient at the MAF. Actual intake temps should be regulated pretty well with the phenolic spacers.
I had a big issue on two of my mustangs because they both had Vortechs with the air filter hanging way down in the front fender behind the bumper. They both had ways for water to get in which soaked the filters and completely killed the power, as in the car literally couldn't get any air and would fall on its face at more than 1/4 throttle.

For the GT with an open foglight, I mounted a plate behind the hole with spacers so air could get in around the plate, but rain and splashed water wouldn't shoot straight onto the filter. Worked perfectly.

Def just read through all the post, work was quiet today lol. Id like to see how long the stock block holds under the pressure of the bigger turbo. Im going to post my build soon as well.

I don't know why they have that feature turned off in this section of the forum. It works in other sections. Maybe it automatically turns off once there are a certain # of replies?
