Question Skywalker

Quick ? on connections for the TIAL Wastegate when running boost control....perhaps you know....Bottom line goes to preesure side of turbo i.e. charge pipe...Top goes to manual or (when we get it working) electric boost controller which is connected also to the pressure side of the turbo also?
Thanks,
Chuck

If you were running NO boost control the bottom feed goes to the Intake Manifold or the Pressure Side of the Turbo, as you stated.

So if you are using the top feed you will want to use an external wastegate boost solenoid, you will want to keep the bottom port set as stated above. Then you will want to run another vacuum line from the Intake Manifold or pressure side of the Turbo to the boost solenoid and then run a vacuum line from the boost solenoid to the top feed on the wastegate.

It all depends on what boost solenoid you are using. If you use the boost solenoid sold from Link ($260 solenoid) then you will want to hook it up as stated above.

If youare using the cheaper boost solenoid ($80 solenoid) from AMR you want to connect one vaccum line from the Pressure Side of the Turbo to the boost solenoid and then attach a vaccum line from the boost solenoid to the bottom (side) feed on the wastegate.

Hope that helps.
