Talking Man I hope the 2004 Legacy is what they say it's gonna be!

There's spy pictures all over the net on the supposed 2004 Legacy.
One thing that is well known is the Legacy will be a turbo for the 2004 model year, then comes a facelift / replacement in 2005
It's rumored to have either a 2.2 liter turbo, a 2.5 liter or a 3.0

Anyone else have any info, cause it's looking so so pretty

Since No One Could Originally See It I put it up like this...

you can get the link by right clicking on the red x and going to properties, then copy/paste into your browser address line, looks good and believable.

The link is no longer working but the copy/paste method is still working. Raptor you don't have to be like that. He's just trying to provide some info and having a little trouble. Cut him some slack.

Yeah, I was just giving you an alternative to what the ORIGINAL thread starter gave you. Not my fault if Geo****ties can't handle the traffic. Chill. Not a good way to make friends/stay in iClub.

Seems kind of odd for Subaru to bring a turbo model for a year and then facelift it. It would make more sense to just wait until the facelift to bring in the turbo. At least hat's what Subaru did with the impreza. We're talking about the USDM right? The sooner we get a performance legacy the better.

Thanx Reflex-Arc, I don't know why you guys can't see it, it right there for me, maybe you need a new version of IE

As for Raptor, learn some manners if you wanna post here, if you want to be a dick, go buy a Honda Civic and spew all the crap you want.

I am *ALL* about the new Legacy. The WRX STi proposition is great, but I could really see myself in a slightly bigger car. I damn-near bought the Legacy GT (or Limited) before I opted for the RS. I guess I couldn't see getting the same engine (EJ25) in a car that weighed something like 6-700 lbs. more than the Impreza. I think. Whatever, it's heavier.

But I always thought the Legacy was a sexy car. I think the '04 model is supposed to be all-new, isn't it? Or is it just a reskin?
I forget.

I personally think that a WRX-type engine in the Legacy would work, but there'd be a major lack of torque in a car that big, for the low range. I know the overseas market is crazy about it (like the B5), but... eh... I'd rather see the H6 with a stick shift, something like that.

Well, from looking through the Fuji Heavy Industries site, I came up with
A. 2004 Legacy Will have a turbo option
B. 2005 A Legacy redesign will be introduced
C. 2004 A Forester turbo will be available in the U.S!!

I'm willing to believe the FHI Newsletter

Geocities doesn't like to show links if you're not a member. In the future try appending a space to the end of the link. The blocking software is usually confused by the space, but the web server is not. So, presto, picture.

Guess the original poster wasn't the uber noob after all.

A Civic with a 165 HP N/A Engine, a 227 Single Turbo or a potential 276 HP Twin Turbo and about twice the size as one.

You do the math
