4) Hasn't bothered me enough to do anything about it...

This started the day that I did my audio install, but need to get some motivation to actually do something about it...

ive fixed a lot of these by removing the bulb and slightly squishing the sides inwards slightly so the bulbs sit tighter in the connection socket

4) Oct. 31, '11 - Took to dealer, they had to order harness for right side, have to take back in a couple days.

5) At 1,500 miles, I found this thread and just replaced the bulb and relieved the tension on the wires. Today @ 4,200 miles, it started happening again. Took straight to dealer this time. Told them that I already tried the simple fix. Will update when I take it back.

What's funny is my '11 STI sedan hasn't had this issue yet. I've had it one week longer than the WRX.
Took to the dealership today (4,800 miles). Took about 1.5 hrs and got a wash/quick wax and a Multi-Point inspection outta the deal too. The part replaced was:

84913FG260 (LENS & BODY HEAD LAMP RH)

Dunno if that is the entire headlamp assembly, or just the rear housing. The ink stamp on the top of the outer lens matches the LH side. Its working fine at the moment.

Tapped on light for a few days temporary fix, Later tugged on the wires problem was gone.

Started when my fender liner on the left side was torn out of the car guess it shook the bumper really good.

4K miles, Driver's side, does it intermittently. Dealer had no ideas. I assume is the front side that is the problem and will try to replace the light on my own.

Pulled the airbox, straightened the wiring harness. No more problem.

Took a look at this today and the wire was nice and loose but still very twisted up. I untwisted them and made sure it wasn't being pinched in the clip.

Its working they way it should again. Hope it stays that way

I would fight that big time!!! I have a 2010 and 2011 Impreza and the were fixed at 2 different dealers and neither charged anything.

I call BS too!!

1) 2011 Wrx Hatch
2) 582 miles, 1000 miles, and 1,322.
3) drivers side
4) took it to the dealer 3 times. They only stopped it for a week or so.
1st time they changed the entire headlight, 2nd they rerouted the harness. 3rd they replaced the bulbs. Now at 1,472 miles it's doing it again. I have no idea what to do now.

Perhaps you could try replacing your dealer.

Well, that wasn't constructive, at all. But seriously, try visiting a different one and see if it helps. Mine took care of it in 15 minutes on the first try (replaced the harness) and it's been good for over 4,000 miles

passenger side

So my passenger side amber was dim and then it started to blink fast so the dealer replaced the whole headlight assembly. Now at 52k it is getting dim again and I am out of warranty. Should I reroute the wiring harness and maybe replace the bulb?

Probably the relay but if they replaced it under warranty and the same thing happened then they should probably cover it. When they replaced anything on my last subie it always came with a 1 year warranty. Have you being denied a claim because usually they have some leeway. Hope that helped

Will tell the dealer when I take it in for the 1000 mile oil change.

Does anyone have the TSB number, or can you copy and paste the TSB its self? Thanks in advance.
