I am not sure where this log came from in my tuning process. The numbers are around this so it's good enough. I will post dyno when it happens.

This is yesterday. If you want to check i tout in AB. I know it's lean I was showing some guys that I am sitting at 99% IDC right now. I'm working on it leaning it up and backing the boost down. I am waiting for a 3 bar MAP sensor so I don't have to rely on my damn gauge. I only get 2 pulls on the way to work and 2 pulls on my way home. It's a long process.

ur tuning this thing from the wrong direction

turn your boost down to 18-20 psi and get your AFR to 11.5, then turn the boost up.

What are your EGT's like @ 13:1 AFR and 26psi?

If you're running the hybrid boost control....why is your WGDC dropping below 89%?

ya I know.

around 1500* or so in CYL 4 header. That was the first log with my 21.75 psi spring in my wastegate. It's no big deal. I will get it dialed in. This mornings log AF is good it's just on my other computer. it's sitting 11's all the way now.

that egt seems way too low for 13:1....

you can jack up your low load timing by like 20* too....you're running more timing at 3.0 load at redline than you are at low rpm and half the load.

ya, I thought about the EGT after I posted that. I am not exactly what they are I will have to check my peak when I get out to my car after work.

That turbo just keeps going though. It runs out of RPM's way sooner than it stops making power.

That log I posted sits at 419/410 it's all in the ball park. I can't wait to get it out to the track and try not to break it.

I feel like the 1.5 xtr should spool faster, peak TQ at 4500 is what I usually see the 3.0 xtr run, the 2.5 xtr is down around 4000, so for a 1.5 it is wicked late. Unless E85 slows spool and I'm just uninformed (which is possible)

E85 lowers egt's and slows spool a bit.

OP, Very nice. You sound like me "I'm done working on this thing" Congrats!

no actually even though egt's go down exhaust volume goes up which should push the turbine side harder.Every car I have tuned on e85 has spooled a tad quicker than on pump gas by about 200 rpm.

Peak torque may be a little late, but I don't think I've ever seen a DOM3.0xt-r or DOM2.5xt-r make 300tq @ 3000 rpm on an Airboy? So the quicker spool would seem to be there (with E85).

This. Every turbo I have had with E85 it spools faster.

I a sure it could spool faster than it is currently. All my intake side is ported and all my exhaust is ceramic coated and heat wrapped. I am just scared to run any more timing down low or more boost since the motor and heads are stock. I am making well over 450 I am assuming with my injectors being maxed. I am going to turn the fuel pressure up to give myself a safety factor. I'm happy were it stands and for 103XXX miles I will run it like it is until I need a new motor.

what is your tire size? what are you using for overall weight?

what are your EGT's? in the log up there you're running 13:1 at WOT

and your timing curve has a big hole in it during boost ramp.....you get down to 14* at ~6psi.....but then you're running 20* at 26 psi.....

if you're running 20* at 26psi at peak tq/load....you shouldnt be scared to run more below that....

Fuel is richer now I got it down to low 11's so I don't know what the EGT's are at 13.1. I didn't change any of the timing just have been playing with the fuel. I can't get my omni 3bar to work right. The car won't start when I put in the 3bar values. Until I can get that working I not going to adjust any of the timing of fuel.

I know you say that Phatron, and I agree, but it doesn't change the fact that I'm scared. The car runs right now and makes good power. I feel like if I change it up I might just break something

well it doesnt make sense at all....if you were actually scared you would have the timing at 14* at pk tq going up to 20....not 20 up to 28

the 14* at 1.5 load is inconsequential compared to the 20* at peak tq....

And that log you have up there is at 99% IDC at 12:1 AFR......so how did you lower your AFR down to low 11's? lower the boost?

he could go up on IDC but lowest AFR could prob get to is 11.5 unless boost is lowered. I do agree with Ron about timing. should taper down to 20 then up to 28
