Default 11 WRX - VDC on or off at track day?

I wanted to get some feedback on those that going to track days with 08-11WRX.

Do you turn off the VDC or leave it ON?

I have done track day on both wet and dry. When wet the VDC will keep blinking everything I trail brake turn in and power exit, too conservative in the wet. Even just slight sliding (within driver controllable manner). It's faster to turn it off.
On dry, the problem is every time when I power exit, the VDC cut my power when the car start to drift (still controllable). I found to have faster lap time with VDC off.

Wish I have the more advance DCCD/VDC on the STi that I can select and tailor to the track condition.

Any input is greatly appreciated

Turn it off. Heck I even autocross with it OFF in the rain.

I figure VDC off is the common scenario for track/autocross event

Just ran a very very wet ProSolo event in Arkansas over the weekend. Tried to launch with the VDC ON, and it just bogged. Launched at 5K rpm with VDC OFF and it spun a little but then took off. Ended up running with it off the rest of the day.

Off is the only way for a Wrx. Sport (green) is the only way for an STi since we need the brakes to help with the diffs. The Wrx needs some diffs if you really want to go fast around turns, especially out of turns.

The few times I forgot to turn it off on a 60-70sec autocross course, I was 1-1.5 seconds slower. The car felt like it rotated better with it on because of the inside wheel braking, but in reality it was much slower
