I have the 2.5" on my '01 Legacy, it bolted right up, brullen makes fine products and you should not have to worry. The 2.5" is loud, even in the quiet version with rersonator.

I have a brullen catback. I believe they have a soft, medium, and loud catbacks. I bought the soft one. The sound is just right for me. A low rumble at idle but drones a little a higher RPM's .

devin - Great choice to have chosen the iON/Brullen system. The '99RS will not fit on your '02RS. The rear hanger is totally different. As well you won't have warranty on a used system. All new systems come with a non-transferable limited lifetime warranty.
Here are the answers to your other Q's : There are 3 acoustic preferences, however depending on pipe diameter the loudness changes. 2.25": Quiet, Medium and Loud 2.50": Quiet ~ a 2.25" medium, Medium is between a 2.25" medium and loud. Loud is just as loud if not louder than a Scoobysport system. *note, our systems are much deeper in tonal qualities* Feel free to email us for more info : info@ionperformance.com |

I just put in my brullen 2.25" medium tone dual 3.5" tip cat back system and i love it. the install was cake and it sounds great.
It is really low at idle and acceleration up to 4500, after 4500 it just whines (but in a good way) It sound like i have a v6 or a v8 in my little engine bay. I get the "what the hell" look all over town. it puts a smile on my face. ear to ear baby. Thanks jack |
