From the pictures, I wouldn't have noticed any damage at all. Someone will need eagle eyes to spot it. You should feel much better about this and future damage.

I'll take a real camera instead of my phone once I wash/paint my calipers on Saturday and get some better shots of it. That is, if it ever stops raining!

did you use a kit to paint your calipers? someone said that tire rack carries paint kits for them. I'm looking for a kit and a good tutorial.

Btw well done with the touch up.

Nice job Fl0w. I don't know how you did that. I had a big rock go to town on my bumper just beneath the driver side headlight. I tried using to the touch up paint and following instructions form follow nasiocer's but it does not look good. It looks like my car has a bad scar under the headlight. I figured eventually I will really screw up my bumped and I will just get it professionally fixed.

Aye, I second this. I'd like to know what you use and see the outcome of it.

Well it rained again so I didn't get a chance to paint the calipers. I'm not sure what I'm using yet, but since the breaks are still pretty much clean I think just a soap wash will do to prep them. I doubt I'll need any sort of brake cleaner/degreaser.
I did find some VHT caliper paint that I hear is decent, and I think it was only 7 bucks, so I'll probably try that. I'll be sure to document it with pics, but it looks like it's not gonna stop raining for some time (no garage to work in)

Backed up into a fire sign post, wasn't paying attention. OOPS. Gouged out the underside of the diffuser a little, chipped away paint, and parallel scratches up the back side of the bumper! First little bit of damage sucks...but it's in the body shop now. Luckily for me, the owner of the body shop is a family friend. Didn't even bother looking up the numbers, gave me a flat rate of $250 rather then $650. WIN.
