Question throtle body & head porting???

Did someone have a over size throtle body and head porting on there RS-T???

Did give it give allot of power to the car???

Do you think just a throttle body over size will give a little kick to mi engine???

In what range on HP do you think it goes???

Head Porting- will increase performance slightly without any other modifications...

Throttle Body- is fine as it is....It is already pretty large for the displacement of our engines anyway....
I suggest you look into it a little more before making any desicions and talk to a tuner who knows about SUBARUS...
I am working on a buildup but Im using a spare engine and doing all internals and Port and polishing the heads as well as a mild cam keeping the Stock Throttle body by the way....
Look into getting a standalone, or some injectors for a easy gain in power...
BUT thats just my 2 cents

I prrted and polished my own heads, Had my ixtake extrude honed and throttle body bored. I got an a n/A motor about 1.2 secs better in the quater mile than without. With the turbo who knows but it pulles hard!

How much were you able to bore out the TB? There's only like 2mm of extra material around it.

RiftsWRX and I spent some time on my TB and managed to knife-edge it from 52mm to 57mm at the edge. Made a massive difference NA, not sure if it'll help turbo or not, though.

I sent it out to cobb and had them do it, (when they were doing it). It is alot bigger now i'm not sure how big it is i didn't measure it, but i did have to bore the inlet of my intake manifold to get it to flow and not hit a step.
