Post 86 subaru brat restoration process. must see!

We at subarus R Us have been restoring a 1986 subaru brat for tha past couple months now. The car was about to go to the crusher but Bobby Lewis(owner) bout it for like $100. And since the car had minimal rust on it just the rocker panels (go figure) we decided to bring it back to life. The car has the seats and the seat belts still in the back from the factory which is a rare thing to find so i've heard. As of now the front end is just about done and as you can see from the pics we have spared no expense on bringing this thing back. The engine and transmission have been both tore down and rebuilt and painted all to factory colors. Every hose, bolt, clip, has been thoroughly cleaned or replaced with new ones from subaru. This entire thing is all factory color even the breather and valve covers were painted back to factory by Whitey at grays body shop who also painted the engine bay area. The suspension has been completely tore down the same as the engine bay area. As you can see there has been tremdous amounts of time, effort, and money to get this far and by the way it looks now it's been worth it. The only thing that awont be factory will be th nitrous kit thats gonna be hooked up just for alittle kick. I guess the only now is to hear everyones opinions on our work so far. And btw I will keep updating this threaed as we progress more without a doubt.

Tommy

We thought about doning somthing similar to the wrx swap but you dont see harly any of these cars on the road anymore so we just decided to restore it. The nitrous is mainly for fun but the car is an automatic and so getting on the interstate will be a hell of alot faster and feasible.
