Question Injector Upgrade Question

I was wondering, when you upgrade injectors, do you need to re-map the ECU? I would think that if you went from the stock 220CC injectors (thats right isnt it?) to maybe a 350CC injectors (for a little more HP at safety) that the O2 sensor would realize it was running rich and just cut back the signal to the injectors so they dont run at the same level as the stock ones.

I'm not sure if this is HOW injectors work, but heres an example.

A 250CC injector running static (250cc flow) uses 1v.
A 500cc injector uses 1v to run static (500cc flow)

to get a 250cc flow out of the 500cc injector, the voltage would only have to be .5v, and the ECU would send that voltage to keep the fuel mixture correct.

FWIW the stock injectors are 280cc injectors and you need to be making some large amounts of power to be in need of any more fuel then you already have...you can't up injector size w/o changing fuel trim....and really going larger at this point isn't really going to unleash any power for you...not w/o some serious mods.

Actually, the stock injectors go static at around 200-220 HP
and that is REALLY easy to achieve with NOS or a turbo kit and other minor mods (intake, exhaust, ect...)
