Eh, I don't mind the .004 increase for SM. Otherwise, no real complaints.

That was coming. I'm glad they made the "street" pax a little harder then the typical .975 from last year.

Don't know what class I'm running in next year, so not sure if I need to be angry yet or not.

Trying to get a ride in STR, STX, SM, or SS. Those are my primary choices that I would like to get into, but needs to be a competitive ride. I've yet to find the right option...or shall I rephrase, everyone I ask keeps telling me no. This is all Newman's fault though, he stole my co-driver for next year.

Whew, the new street classes are definitely PAX'd on the conservative side. I guess it's best to err in that direction for the first year, but if I'm participating in a Match Tour or local PAX based "Pro/X" class, the new "street" classes will not get it done. There's no way in a million years a C-Street BRZ/FRS could compete with even a half-prepped STX car (.821 vs .827).

I was also looking to co-drive a friend's Elise in Super-Street and that PAX sucks too. SS is giving 0.05 to STR (.843 vs .838). I don't see an Elise on street tires being able to out-raw a well-prepped STR S2000 much less overcome the slight PAX difference.

Hells no! I was talking about running in STX with him when he still had the FRS. He hadn't decided anything at that point and we had been talking about options, when next thing I know he's driving with Newman. Not upset about it at all, just saying. Now I'm just trying to figure out what I want to do based on my options, but the options are pretty dim.

I'm sure they would let you in on the gangbang... just bring your own wheels & run it in A Street.

Shouldn't you blame Danny for buying the FRS?

It is what it is…definite offers came about and decisions had to be made. I'm sitting around like Hulkenburg trying to find the last seat on the grid.

FYI they are talking about the Match Tour's running on Dial-In like Pros, if that happens hopefully PAX will matter less at national events which most agree would be a good thing. Apparently there are other changes in the works for the Match Tours, I'm glad to see they are listening.
