all-seasons are really no-seasons

I run Goodyear F1 GS-D3 year round and take the jeep when it snows. They stopped making them in my size, however, so it will be on to Michelin Pilots when these finally wear out.

my all seasons work in all seasons well enough for everything I do, and that includes some snow driving, going up to the pass for snowboarding etc. they can't be the best at everything, obviously you are sacrificing a little bit off of every category to be 'decent' at every category.

beats flipping between two sets of wheels and tires for me.

I really like my DWS. Great for year round.

conti DWS seem like the most capable all season. I went with hankook H105s myself - compared to the DWS, they offer worse snow traction and a stiffer sidewall. I am pleased with them, but I wouldn't be if I was driving in 5"+ of powder : P
