Default 20gxtr is here!!!

should have waited on the 20gxt purchase eh?

http://www.bptstore.com/Subaru-WRXST...er-_p_122.html

in the 8cm fashion i'll bet it spools close to a vf39, seeing as the xt journal bearing hit's full boost about 3700 rpm

I've done a search and there are no threads about the 20G-XTR unless it's people mistakenly calling the XT an XTR.

EDIT: I just put a 20G-XT on and this kinda irks me lol Oh well.

mmmmmmm I think I just found my new turbo! Do want Do want. Probably one of the best 2.5 liter daily turbos for pump gas I could think of. Also the 8cm should be perfect with my 44mm ewg

That spools slow.... My 1.5XTR hits 20psi around 3400 (28psi around 3700) and my vf39 hit 20psi around 2800 ((24psi around 3200)

That is odd, I wonder why the regular xt makes more power?

I would assume ball bearing would make it spool better, but I dont understand the loss in power?

I spoke with Blouch today regarding the difference between the 20G-XT and XTR. "Smaller compressor in the R so it will spool faster but lose on the top end". Which is why they rate the R at about 10 crank HP less. Only time will tell. I am a happy 20g-xt owner and it's not enough to make a switch. But for $350, Blouch will be happy to rebuild and/or upgrade your 20g ?

just get teh dom 1.5 like me. You can now get it in a 8cm hotside with a 3" inlet. it's a 49lb wheel and the 20gxt is a 47lb wheel. 2 lb more and BB. Win WIN if you ask me

I thought the 1.5xt had problematic 8cm2 hotsides? Also the 20gxtr is ball bearing as well......I cant run E85 or race gas so I would rather the smaller of the 2

Maybe they figured something out for them. When I talked to blouch before I purchased mine. They were not willing to put a 8cm hotside on any of there BB turbo's. All the dom turbos had to have a ring welded on to use anything smaller than the 10cm. I even tried to talk them into just making me one and me not having any warranty and they wouldn't. So I am assuming they have figured something out.

I have four kids and my balls are dislocated so if she is carrying I wanna know why??!!! ;-) had a scare with one of the kids and really could not continue with a 2 seater as a Family back up so I sold her, plus I dropped a car payment.... nice.
