Sweeet!!!!! Hummm. Is a full motor swap neccesary? Maybe the bits could be bolted up to 2.5. What can we get these motors for in the states anyway?

I think it will be less complicated if a full motor swap is done. Because of the elaborate twin turbo system, There are so many little electrical relays and solenoids to make this work.

By the way, that's my Legacy with the TT motor.
The power difference from NA to the TT is amazing. Really a sleeper and can kick some major ___

Looks very cool. Realize you could have got a better/equal qaulity battery under its original name for FAR cheaper, Hawker Genesis g16ep=dynabat

Unfortunately, not much streets to give it a go. There's always the skyway, an elevated toll road thats empty at night. Or, sometimes I take it out of town to open her up a bit. Go to the race track at Subic (3 hours from Manila)

If theres a will theres a way basically. At least we dont have speeding fines to pay when we get the chance to floor it

hehe.. i'm not, but was there for ~8 days last summer for a friend's wedding. split the time between manila and dumaguete.

tried to pay for 3 zagu's with a 1000 peso (~20 usd) bill and they didn't have enough $$ in the register to make change.

I am from Alabang. So I do get to travel the expressway everyday. But if you realy want to open it up, you go to the SkYWAY. Its like 5 kilometers of straight usually empty road.

You usually see Lancer evos, Imprezas and the euro stuff like Porsche GT3s and Ferraris go at it on Sunday mornings

Wow, a sticky thread.

Anyway, if any of you guys want to ask questions regarding the swap, ask away. Hopefully, someone will TT their Legacy also.

Surprisingly, the BG5 Legacy are so abundant in yards in Japan. They made so much of those that there are a lot of crashed ones lying around

was wild... I'd say around 275/300hp... I am in the process of having a STi V4 tranny installed now... I aslo have swapped the turbo out for FAT Stage II and now have a built low end engine (low compression pistons and stronger rods/pins)

Looks like an aftermarket header for the TT engine. So it could be for a B4 or turbo wagon

That header looks like it would solve the problem of the oddball firing order in the subies, it pipes the exhaust crossways across the motor so one cylinder from each side routes to the turbo on the opposite side.

Does FAT use this kind of setup, or do the cylinders on the same side of the motor pressurize the same turbo?

I think that is the twin turbo upgrade kit that SYMS just put out, I remember seeing that pic before. Kastles kit looks like the one that Forced Air Technologies puts out. That kit looks great, and it works on pretty much anything (Legacy, Impreza, Forester). But, its $5000....
