Arrow New Muffler Installed

On Saturday, I installed one of them "Fireball" mufflers....G-Spec or something or other. Its a high performance straight through job with a silencer.

Well, first off I've got to just by this muffler, I can tell the importance of back pressure.

For example, with the silencer in (which reduces noise level by 7 decibels) I still have the torquey feel, but can feel the slight pick up in speed between 2500-3000rpms.

With the silencer removed, I noticed the loss of torquey pick up in the lower rpms, but I can feel the car pick up spead at 3500-4500 rpm albeit with a whole lot of noise. Not a bad noise, but loud.

Just thought I'd share this experience.

Comments are appreciated as well.
