Default Richmond, Va motorcycle riders...Bike Nights, ride, etc

I thought I posted this here, but i guess not.

For my fellow motorcyclists, Quaker Steak and Lube hosts bike nights on Wednesdays starting at 5 until about 11 or 12. Being the weather is changing, the first bike night of the season started on the 20th of April. Wife and I go and it is a blast.

For those that have never been there, it is right next to Hooters on W Broad St. and is always a great turnout of a few hundred bikes. They have a few vendors there, some contests and raffles.

I'll be busy tomorrow night, so that's a negative for me.

Took a ride to the mountains on Friday. Snapped some cool pics. Posted up a thread over on SVrider. I don't feel like hosting them everywhere so here's the link!

I will be there tomorrow with some of the technicians and service writers I work with.

On another note, RIP to Henrico County Police Officer Thomas Berry, who was struck by a car today on John Rolfe parkway as he was riding his motorcycle and died at the hospital. My wife and son saw it happen and when she came out of the Martins there, they were doing CPR on him. Now he is worried that we ride so now I have to finally have "the talk" with him. he is 10 so hopefully he will get the jist of things.

Here is a pic she took

Sounds good. I saw two other SV's. There was a grey full faired, a blue FIRST gen naked, and then mine which is a second gen. Mine has a black frame.

Wife and I went last Wednesday and there had to be at least 700 bikes or more. Anyone going this week?

Not sure yet. I prefer to be on the Southwest corner somewhere between 360 and Midlothian. Depends on where I end up finding work at.
