Nice pics! Thanks for sharing.

I dont know though... Rally America is getting a bit on the lame side. This was my 5th year in a row, and it has changed so much since. A lot of the big drivers are missing (Block, Pastrana, Foust, ACP), were instead getting big celebrities that cant drive (Mirra), and its not as much about the traditional rallying anymore...

I guess its their way of getting it popular here in the states :/

Yes, screw someone who is bringing a fresh new brand into a shrinking racing series.

^It's awesome to see some factory support in the 2WD Class. I think the last factory 2WD Turbo cars were the SRT-4's carrying Pete Gladysz and Doug Shepard, right?

Cars must be at least 25 years old.

If I may take a moment to defend the organization...

Those "big" drivers couldn't maintain the lifestyle. My tune has changed quite a lot the past few years, and I'd much rather watch Higgins drive for a living than watch an advertising machine barely manage his uncompetitive advantage.

The best rally I've attended was, remarkably, the simplest (by accident); it was the year the Olympus Rally in Pomeroy, Wa. This was my first rally, and it was an unparalleled motoring experience. The following year I attended the OTR, and it was good, but it lacked the personality of that little rally in Eastern Washington.

My point is that for some, Pomeroy was a miserable necessity for the rally to carry on, but for me, it was the benchmark for all the motoring events I will ever attend. Nothing will ever be as good (I think). At one time I loved the big names involved, however I now see more eye-to-eye with those that initially denounced it. Things are still good for rallying in America, and we should simply enjoy it. I hope to take my kids to a great NW rally, but the reality is that one day it may not be there to take them to.
