Post Dealership Screwed Up My Speaker...

I took my RS to the dealership to fix 2 things...One a barring needed to be replaced in the transmission and 2 my drivers side window and motor had to be replaced. Anyhow I get my car back and everything is great. I turn on my stereo (after market CD player and speakers) and i hear a rattleing in the driver side speaker. I thought a wire must be hanging over the speaker and I'll just take off the door and tape it or something. Well I took off the door and played my stereo and still rattled. I knew it was the speaker now. I took out the speaker...and behind the speaker it was all wet.....it wasn't water but some really liquidy oil covering the back of the speaker. I felt around the hole where the speaker was and all around was wet too. I also noticed that the negative connection of the speaker was broken and had been glued back with a rubber cemement.... So now I need to call the dealership back....this is their fault right?!?!......Do they have to pay for it?

Yes they do. And, putting back any electrical connection with rubber compound would nothing, because rubber doesn't let electricity to go through. What were they thinking?

yeah...i called them..and i was argueing with them for a bit...every person i talked to gave me a different story...so i finally talked to the guy who worked on my car...he pretty much said bring the car down....so i said alright...i went back to my car and put everything back.....then on my way to the dealership i turned my stereo on again....it was perfect...i turned up my lows all the way up then blasted the volume and it was perfect still....i then called them and said sorry i can't make it today ill come another day....now im thinking...this problem has to do with the negative connection...it was probably loose and was giving me a disorted sound....and when i put it back i must have fixed it....so i think for now ill just live with it...im gonna blast it for long periods of time while driving....if the problem comes up again.....goin back to the dealership...
