The 2010+ legacies had a shimmy at 60 mph. I don't know if its related or not.

hatchbacks tend to blow around a lot when it doesn't even seem all that windy

If you don't hear that weird echo-ey sound inside the car above 40 mph then it might not be wheel balance. Its weird every car I've had that needed a wheel balance did that almost exactly when I hit 40mph and above. take it to the dealer and make them fix it. Lol

I skimmed through the rattle thread last night, and I haven't actually looked at my door yet, but can someone tell me how to actually open it to take out that stupid plastic box.

lower your windows then lift the power switches and remove the screw, remove the screw where the the handle release is. Start at the bottom forward part of the door and start pulling the door card, you will hear loud pops. Work your way back and forth from forward to the rear of the door from bottom to the top. Once you have the door card loose you lift it up to the top there are hooks on the top door sill where the door card meets the window. Once that is all loose you can pull the cables from the door lock and release handle. The card falls on your feet. Then just pull the door resonator off the car. Reverse the order on your way out.

Just make sure, you have all the pop-it fasteners back on the door card before trying to reattach it to the car.

Thanks Louis. I'll see how my car handles on the freeway.. If nothing then I won't bother taking it in. But it'll be nice to be able to get some of those rattles fixed.

I think the alignment from the factory just isn't that great. Take it in and get it aligned, theoretically should be free under warranty

Any one know how to get accurate dyno reads on the accessport. tonight i was curious as to how much HP i was getting to the wheels and it said 375 to the wheels... i obviously know this is not right. And i wasn't on a decline either. Any suggestions? or is this pretty much not a accurate way to measure?

I saw this thread but it didn't answer.

Has anyone tried the OBX Quad Catback? for $300 on Ebay.

I have been thinking of getting the Nameless axleback but i'm worried that it will be too loud with a downpipe.

Your kidding, that loud? Still at that price i'm thinking of giving it a shot. I can't justify much more for a noise maker.

Thats why I haven't seriously considered the Nameless. I know I eventually plan on getting a DP and catback for a stage 2 setup, so I don't want to spend $300+ on what I'll end up getting rid of anyways

Have you ever heard a full straight pipe exhaust? From what I've heard of the nameless, or hell even just me screwing around with no axleback at all, its really not all that loud. At least not until you're at wot and over 5.3k or so

Hmm idk at WOT that thing is LOUD! And I'm 21 and have a pretty high tolerance for noise. And there has been multiple nights at 3am where I can distinctly hear his car coming from a 1/4 mile away. Granted every time he drives he floors it. And during regular driving it's not to loud. But when you flooor it that thing is a nuisance. (I still bought one to rev at ricers) but that's what I'm going for is a raw sound. So I'ma go catless cnt dp with the nameless cat back.

Also 21, and after driving/riding in/frequently hearing my buddies sti and wrx (exhaust made it to 2 cars) with a crawford turboback, the 2011 with an axleback is nothing.
Seriously, I drove around with just the midpipe dumping straight out for a day and its really not that loud.

Have you ever had a car with an aftermarket exhaust before?

Well then there it is lol

You should probably start pretty smaller, like the Nameless. And if you're getting an aftermarket DP I'd recommend a catted one until you get used to the noise of the exhaust.

Also, anything is louder at 3am because theres generally not much if any other noise going on.
