I would suggest hearing one in person before buying if possible. It was too loud for me at just partial throttle. Free reving want bad but when you put load on it, it was a whole different story to me. Especially if your pulling a hill. It sounds exactly like just removing your mufflers and not adding pipes at all. If you remove your mufflers and like the sound then its for you if not keep looking. I thought it would change with the axel back pipes somewhat but it didn't imo. Its not for everyone.

Just be sure whatever setup you get still has a system of resonator(s) and muffler(s), and your DP is catted. Removing all that stuff tends to add to the noise just a little lol

Oh ok yeah i bought the Nameless catback it has a resonator in it. But no muffler. Im prepared for the no muffler. Its just i wouldn't suggest it to others unless they knew what they were getting in to. And i loovve that catless sound hearing the turbo. Can you still hear it with a cat?

I'm new to turbo, but from what I've been told and have seen you get alot of turbo sound from a new intake. Dunno if going catless increases that or not

I'm actually east of baltimore md. So about 2 hrs. I would imagine you could go to a local meet and hear some of these exhausts. Really, mist if them sound very similar

I have a catless dp with a full 3 inch tsudo catback. It's pretty loud but I've had loud exhaust on all my cars lol. The dp definitely made a difference in the turbo sound. I actually don't know anyone with a catted dp but I'm sure you can hear the turbo better than stock because the stock dp has 2 cats I think. I just ordered an intake too. That makes the turbo and bpv sounds louder as well. Just YouTube videos of different exhausts. It's hard to tell from YouTube but it still helps.

Hmm for sure. Do you know if a up pipe is neccesary for the 3G alot of people say no because it doesn't have a cat. But I've read it will help your turbo spool up 500 rpms quicker.

Yeah I've been shown how there are done inconsistencies on the ID if the UP. If you have the extra few bones, get an UP...but plan ahead if you think you will ever go with an EWG, do it right the first time.

Finally opened up my door, didn't take the whole card off, just pried the corner up. The box looked like it was attached with plastic rivets or something, I didn't feel like breaking anything so I just duct taped a sham-wow onto it and called it good for now.

Can anyone confirm the foglamp bulb size on a 2012 WRX Premium? Is it the same as a 2011? I thought it may be different since the '12 foglights and move up and down.
Thanks in advance guys.

They are? How? I know the HIDs are adjustable, but I've never noticed anything for fogs. Then again I haven't gotten in there to look at the actual housing yet

Go through the vent, use a short cross top screwdriver, right is up and left is down.

My '12 Prem. has a switch on the dash next to the switch for raising and lowering the gauge backlight. Its got 5 different height settings. Did the '11s have this? I had a 09 base WRX before with no head lights so I wasn't sure.

he he he.. you'll have to post pictures to describe that more accurately. But I think that you have the HID's that come OEM with the car? Those are on the STi's but not on the WRX's (as far as I know). These will adjust the height of your headlights not the foglights. If you live in a gated community or travel on post/base this is nice for the gate guard to not get blinded.

The switch is there for anything with factory HIDs. So some of the WRXs do have it. (Like mine lol)

Seriously, post pics immediately. He says he has a premium which doesn't have HIDs.

Has anyone used this website? http://subarukits.com/shop_usa_5.html# They have exhaust heat shields for the sedan and I love the front lip and rear diffuser, but the web site seems kind of skeptical to me.
