Also, the new nameless options for the hatch look amazing.

To answer your first question, no a KB SS will not get rid of the notchiness. Stiffer bushings will always create the notch which is what most people are looking for. The best way to make it work for you instead of against you is to get a heavier shift knob.

Something else to add is that a ss will shorten the throw but also increase effort needed due to less leverage. Heavier knob should help with that as well.

Had the dealership put the Q300 cat-back on my 2012 WRX sedan before I took delivery of it. I am very happy with the tone and sound level is decent. Sure there's a little drone but I had an N1 Race TBE on my 08' wagon, that was drone! Q300 was worth it for me. I saw you ask about this in someone's quote but I couldn't find the your OG post asking about it KareemA so I just took this one

I may be wrong. Correct me if I am haha I'm a scoobie newbie lol

I'll work at getting a video together on my Borla UEL, Invidia catted DP and GReddy SP Elite on the hatch. It's my favorite setup so far and out of any that I've heard.

I thought the Q300 V2 Quad Tip Hatch version sounded OK, but the highway drone got old after a while. I would have put up with it, but my wife thought otherwise. Having a dead quiet car that makes 460+ WHP is fun though

Any tranny work xluben. People are always ripping on the wrx trans just wondering if your on the stock one with that power? Clutch stock? Would be comforting to know my tranny could take that much power. Lol

Stock Tranny
ACT HD Pressure Plate
ACT 4 Puck Sprung Disk
ACT Streetlight Flywheel

The 08+ WRX 5 Speed has LGT gears. They're a bit stronger than the old WRX's (but no where near the 6 speed level). I only have 24k miles on my car, and maybe 8k over 400WHP, so who knows how long it will last.

Also, finished up my flip key.

What's the plans for the tranny if you have issues. Straight cut gears?

Anyone else with a hatch have their back seats start to rattle all the time when driving after a while? I'm assuming it is coming from where the seat back locks into place when upright.

Mine started happening a bit before 1000 miles when I started flipping the seats down for hauling purposes. I was thinking about maybe using some electrical tape to add a little bit of cushioning.

Hey guys question for ya.
Im looking for boost gauges, preferably one thats relatively inexpensive. But one that will get the job done nonetheless.
If you have one, what is it and how do you like it? Open to any suggestions. Thanks!
*also pics would be great

Probably a defi. Would be the way to go.
If you really want to not spend money. Get a mechanical one. But they're a little more difficult to install and you can hear them. If that doesn't bother you. Then yea.

^ ProSport Halo gauges w/ SMY cluster pod... Couldn't be happier. Super discreet, nice options, and get the job done reliably.

I have the prosport amber with white needle. I will be installing this July with the smy. The prosport are the best bang for the buck imo. They have both mechanical and electric I believe.
