Out of here with that "learned" talk!

hahaha I kid. Don't mind Louie, he means well. He just enjoys making counter-points since he enjoys law. I doubt he's truly passionate about the points he makes, even if the opposing side is passionate. That's just my observation, though.

Im sorry man. I came off wrong. Nasioc is a seriously caustic place. I should've left my comments with only saying that I agree that wheel spacers can and probably cause a premature wear to the outer wheel bearings. However, I think that the newer hub bearing design and metals at pretty sturdy and have a low incidence of failure even with low offsets in race conditions.

idk they are the same as oem but lighter, xluben had 04 17x7.5 sti wheels with 25mm spacers, why not just get conversion spacers and run 17x8s?

Totally have me wrong. there are so many fanboi personalities on this site someone has to apply reality to the conversation..

Case in point: the rota debate... They roll just as true as their knocked-off counter part. Nasioc creates a negative persona because they look like the original but half the cost. Are advans really better than rota if they roll down the road the same? Fanboi says yes because the wheel is forged and they are stronger; Louie says no because the strength and integrity of the wheel isn't being questioned just the ability to roll.

Back to the spacers:

Will shenanigans cause premature failure to the wheel bearings? Probably not if people are putting 30k miles on them without reports if failure. What people probably should be worried about is the seriously low offset on a cast wheel during a rally cross event and the wheel failing and not causing a wear and tear component from wearing out a few thousand miles before its recommended replacement interval.

Just me.

But most of you people take me too serious. I forget about all you fools until I get those update emails.

No problem. If I'm wrong I want to know about it...and that is something I'm glad to know now. Thanks!

He put it best. My bad, suckafoo. I get so used to everyone else using emoticons, but you're not down with those. I kid you not, I tried posting without using emoticons in my local chapter for only a WEEK and I got several PM's asking, "Are we cool?" or "You know I was just kidding, right?" hahaha

The spool up feels different.... The tires are significantly louder than the car. Its cool in a very vanilla way.

I drove kyletakahero's 2012 WRX hatch that's completely stock performance-wise and I can tell you that my WRX is almost well-worth all the trouble it's given me over the past 23 months mostly because of being Stage 2.

You might not understand since you have an STI already with Sport # mode, but the throttle response is SO much better that I can't imagine daily driving my WRX stock. It feels like the car is 90% of what my 2005 STI was, which is most of it's appeal.

I told Kyle he needs to go Stage 1 at least, but my recent woes have him (and others) hesitant to go there up here in Alaska. Don't blame them.

Anyways, that's my attempt at relating to your enthusiasm.

I honestly drive in s-mode unless I intend on driving life an ass. either way the spool up feels incredible like the ramp up of power is steeper than with the full tbe.

And no, I do not, personally, but my buddy DJ would most likely disagree. He enjoys his 2011 WRX with Q300 CBE.

(Un)fortunately I have a reputation for being an honest guy. Plus it's my way of giving Subaru a chance to not look completely retarded.

Let me say before I get intrawebezed. I am using an aftermarket DP. But it is the OTS cobb map. All of my data logs look fine thus far. I would go open DP at SPR this weekend.. If I were still going.
