Nope your not seeing things. And I'm not sure why that is either. When i picked up my car a month ago a 2012 wrx hatch was on the same shipment as my 2012 sti hatch. Mines pivots but the wrx didn't. But I've seen 2012 wrx with the pivot.

I'm trying to order the SPT gauge pod as well to fit my Rallitek boost gauge in. I don't like the look of the Prosport gauge pod and my boost gauge isn't slim enough to fit in the defi pods. I contacted fredbeansparts... just waiting for a reply back.

lol wtf? i knew it... i guess it's just totally random? i wonder if it's by trim level, or if it depends on if it has NAV/SAT or what... i do have both

edit: that 'splains it... found the answer http://opposedforces.com/parts/impre...parts_antenna/

It was explained to me when a 2011 STI Limited with NAV was sitting on the showroom floor at the local dealer last year that the non-pivot antennae was because of the NAV.

Edit: Asharus confirmed it.

Has anyone ever tried gutting the cat in the stock midpipe? Would it be incredibly difficult?

Would be better off putting in a test pipe. I've heard of people doing it with the q300 and the stock. Both sound horrible. There is a video of the stock one on YouTube for sure. The guy who did it for the q300 put it up for sale right away, invidia wanted too much for just the midpipe and I guess he tossed the q300 midpipe after he had the test pipe put on.

Ah never mind then, thanks. So there's only the two cats in the stock down pipe then? I don't know why I thought that was another cat. God I miss my SPT.
