Default Told that turbo is going out.

Is there anyone in the Ogden area that could look at my WRX and tell me if they think the turbo is going out? Thanks

Look for ATM receipts and restaurant receipts. Usually if it comes home smelling like booze and cigarets or the stench of heavy cologne; chances are your turbo had been going out without you.

What are your symptoms and who told you it was going out?

If your car is blowing oil out the tail pipe it's either rings or the turbo, pull the plugs if there isn't a ton of oil on them odds are it's the turbo.

Could also be leaky valve seals.

Perhaps he smelled booze on his turbo's breath and took matters into his own hands.
