Exclamation Cold Air Intake for the RS. HELP!

Hi everyone. I am about to buy a GanzFlow cold air intake for 02 2.5 RS, also sold on www.imprezars.com but I have a few concerns.

Originally it's made to connect to the stock air filter, but eventually I'm planning to tubo-charge my car, and put a top-mount intercooler in it, also fitting in a performance air-filter. Will is be easy to use this same pipe with a performance filter, located at a different place than the stock filter? Also, does a cold air intake require any mods to the bumper, or does it suck the air from below the car? Excuse my lack of terminology, I'm still new to aftermarket tuning. Waiting for helpful info. Thanks

Vlad

dude... did you not see that I moved your post?

This forum is for aftermarket turbo kits... your asking about a cold air intake.

You are N/A. That is where this post is going.

It will connect to anything you want it to as long as it is in the stock location of the air box. Unless you feel like modifying it to fit.

The Air intake does not require any work except to remove the stock intake. That is it. There is holes on the sidewall of the engine compartment that it will fit into.

If you can fit an aftermarket filter into the fender then yeah you will be able to. But I do not think the piple will be able to feed a turbo with a lot of cutting.

Unless you cut the pipe (to shorten it), it won't fit once you install a turbo kit because of where the turbo sits vs. where the airbox sits.

Most every kit comes with a new intake pipe and filter.... FWIW
