Ahhh win. I didn't lose my license, probably because I was honest with the cop and have never been pulled over before.

I know it's wrong to go those speeds on public roads, but I was data logging for e85 on a 4 lane highway which APPEARED to be empty... I guess i'll be taking it to P&L next time.

We are putting together a group buy for Fumoto Oil Drain valves which allow you to replace your drain plug with a quick drain valve which make oil changes a snap. We have found a company willing to give us a 10% discount and free shipping if we have 10+ orders, and 10%-25% and free shipping if we order 20 or more! If you have questions John JC Crouthamel has used these for quite a while (and introduced me to them).

If you can make a firm commitment to purchasing a valve, check out the sizing guide below and fill out

that is a truly awesome product! i went into the video being skeptical...but it looks pretty legit, as long as the oil is warm and flows through and as long as it doesnt leak. ever.

I had one on my Legacy for years and never had an issue with it. The STI will be getting one as well.

Placed my name on the list. I've wanted one of these for years. For some reason I never got around to buying one. Now I have no excuse.

Got one for the Forester and my Legacy. Checking with my sister, if she'll buy one, since I have to change the oil on hers too. Mentioned it to a few other DIY oilchange friends, have some interest there too.

Were looking at like 21-23 bucks. We're climbing towards the 20% discount tho.

Normally they're $32ish shipped.

I got mine for about $25 shipped last year. Have prices really gone up that much?

Make sure you collect money before you place the order. I tried to do a group buy, but even after a bunch of people told me they wanted one, only one person paid me by the deadline I set.

Bill Morton is in charge of it, not I. he said the one for his legacy was $31.95 shipped.

Well, if we get 3 more orders, we get a 20% discount, which puts us at $19-ish a piece, and then you're helping out the rest of the club too.

The meet went well, decent turn out. Food was overpriced, and Mark's wife got sick the next day. Went to The Field House in NL afterwards and hung out there till 10:30 or so... It was a good time!

Yea, we have a few minors in the club. Another point is the buffet sucks for 18 bucks a pop... and you don't even want to see the other restaurant's prices...

I have a few ideas now though:
Godfather's Pizza in Iowa City (bigger location than CR, plus has a party room)
Pizza Ranch (North Liberty or IC, both have party rooms)
Okaboji Grill (North Liberty, I believe has a party room, but I'm not sure on size)

Anyone feel free to add to the list...

And our meets are the 2nd Saturday of each month...
