Default Lost in [British] Translation

To set the table, Subaru UK (the IM Group subsidiary with exclusive rights to import/sell Subarus in the UK) is currently in the process of transforming the Subaru brand image there, from a premium one (like Audi), to an SUV brand (like ??). Thus, Subaru UK has stopped importing the Impreza line completely this year, including WRX and STI, and has adopted a new marketing theme which they've christened "Subarural."

A new print ad hinges on the expression "Get stuck in" which is a uniquely British "informal" expression that I suspect might not even be understood by many lads in British public schools (which, queerly, are almost the exact opposite of US public schools). So here's the print ad and please (if you're not British) chime in with what you think it means (before cheating and consulting http://dictionary.cambridge.org/dict...h/get-stuck-in).

Wait, so they're not importing the Impreza line at all for 2013?

They're blubbering about this ad? I admit they might be wiping away a tear, but only only because that expression was a favorite of their grams.

Ummm it means to get on with it. With "it" meaning work, a job, a task that isn't usually easy.
Not British, use that shizz all the time.
