I have two grills. Both are blue now. One was the black w/chrome, then black and now blue. The one on the car is from an Outback and used to be "gold." Im thinking about attempting a mesh grill with the one off the car. It seems like it will be hard to do.

changed oil today, castrol synthetic blend, noticed about a 10% increase in fuel economy over conventional oil, still waitin on a friend of mine to give me the green light to use his shop to do the exhaust though, using his 4 post lift kinda spoiled me a bit.

You guys almost won't believe this one. I bought a 2005 legacy for 4k with a "rod knock" but couldn't hear it because there was no battery. I finally got to work on it after finishing an outback with an actual rod knock. Turns out it threw a rod, piston 1 shattered. The crank was messed, so were the valves and all bearings. Had to have a new crank and had to be almost completely rebuilt. Also did I mention this car has 204k miles. Best challenge yet.

I'm always on the lookout for some cheap 26" or 17" wheels for my 98. It looked great with the 4th gen 17" Legacy wheels for a couple weeks while I painted the stock 15" wheels. Plus my soft winter tires felt better than the 15" all seasons...

Just put on another door and fender since the originals were smashed a bit from previous owner. Also did the wiring harness for my deck, installed the deck and installed new front speakers.

Finally got around to removing the 3M Weatherstrip adhesive from my driver side headlight and my roof. Used 3M Adhesive Removal and it worked great...except I may need to use more adhesive on my front windshield stripping again.

Planning on cleaning all the windows/interior/wheels this weekend if I get the chance as well air in the tires and a nice little clean overall.

Lots of headlight cleaning! I did that to mine a day or two ago. The formula I've found that works the best is sanding the headlight covers down and the painting them with a clear coat. Looks like new! Today. I don't know I'll have to do something to her...
