No, just the skid plate. I didn't really feel I needed the diff cover. Its for my 06 Legacy. I'm slightly lowered and wanted the added protection. This is a street only car.
I hope to get a full set for my Outback next year though. |

Converted my '95 one piece headlights to '98 two piece. Was pretty easy to do since I got the plugs from a pull apart yard and they match up to the old wires. Next ill have them polished back to new.

Removed the 2nd filter on my intake for my 06. Best as I can tell it was a charcoal filter to keep fumes from escaping when the car isn't running.
Throttle response feels much better now. Struts for my 98 should be delivered today. |

Cleaned various hard to reach areas of car, restored the 2 piece headlights I recently installed, painted the wiper arms with a fresh coat of black trim paint and installed various missing screws that I got at a pull a part.

KYB GR2. It's for a 98 Outback that is my wife's DD. She just told me about a noise it started making a few days ago... On Saturday I jacked up the front passenger wheel to see where the thumping was coming from only to see that both inner and outer tie rod boots were broken and there was play in the inner tie rod causing the noise. Then I looked on the driver side, and the inner boot is torn on that side too....![]() I was going to drive to a buddy's to install the struts. He lives about 35 miles away, but I think I'm going to see about installing tie rod ends myself as I don't want to drive on the interstate with worn tie rods... Yesterday I installed a new cabin filter in my 06, cleaned the interior, washed my summer wheels for storage, washed both 06 and 98 Legacies. I didn't have enough time to do a full wax before it got dark due to the time change, but I did hit both with some quick wax. ![]() |

- Last weekend I replaced the driver side rear axle.
- Yesterday I replaced the right rear wheel bearing. Quite a pain in the ass, and ran short on time at the auto hobby shop on the base, so I still need to adjust the parking brake and get the center console fully installed. |

Got USDM fog lights from a GT and front and rear sway bars from an Outback. The rear was an quick easy install. Front not so much. The mounts for the front are different from a 2.2L to a 2.5L. The 2.5L has two bolts on the mounts holding the bushings to the chassis. The 2.2L has one bolt and a clip. Good thing I had my friend helping me that builds race cars...
My car handles so much better, even with the stock 14 in steelies. |

Yes direct fit. Get saggy butt spacers. Wagon rear will sag due to heavy hatch. Google the spacers.
