Default is BAIC "name" a little vague?

after all, we think BAY AREA as being in san francisco BAY AREA.

not thinking there are other BAY AREAs out there...

i mean take a look at the chapters. alaskan, mid west, texas, hawaii... you get the idea...

maybe in parenthesis, add SAN FRANCISCO/BAY AREA...

[getting off now... just waiting for a tape back verify to finish...}

If there was going to any changes, it should be called "Northern California". The other forums is called "Southern California", right? There's plenty of people from north, south, and east of the "Bay Area" on this forum.

OI!!!

Maybe my point was missed. The "So-Cal Forum" isn't called "Los Angles Forum". There's towns north and south of LA. Just like there are towns north/south/east of the Bay Area. Modesto, Sacramento, etc...

Sure there may be other Bay Area out there but when you see something in the New York Times mention bay area they ALWAYS mean California. Those other states are just posers.

Yup! When I traveled around, people would ask where I was from. I'd say "Bay Area." "OOh you're from California there hey don'tcha know?"

When you say bay area, people know it's CA.
