Default Outback + WRX turbo? Will it work?

I have done some searching and don't seen to come up with an answer. I have an 2002 2.5 Legacy Outback and am trying to find out what stock parts off the WRX turbo system will bolt on to my car. I understand that I'm going to need a boost controller and run much less boost than a WRX but how much of the WRX's turbo system can I use on the Legacy?
Am I better spending more and getting a kit?
Thanks,
Jon

I would think you could probably take the intercooler, turbo, BOV, and ??? Definitely woul dneed new piping, boost controller, other electronics.
I have no idea what else could be transfered. You may want to also pose this question in the Aftermarket Forced Induction section.

edit: Just found this thread in the other forum. Look HERE

FLaBrit - The only parts you'll really only be able to use from the WRX on your outback is the TD04 turbo, and that's a little small. To use the exhaust manifold etc, an x-member swap has to be done, however no one has confirmed fitment on the BE/BH Legacy.

You're much better off waiting for a Legacy specific kit. iON Performance will be out with two kits for the Legacy shortly, each catered to different needs.

Thanks for the input and the stock advice guys! I was hoping to get away with as much WRX 2nd hand stuff as possible as it seems like you can pick up all the WRX stuff for less than $1000 + some electronics I was hoping <$2000 when I'm done....but it appears not to be that simple

I remember another post similar to this. Someone posted the effeciency charts for the stock wrx turbo and it was a really bad match for the 2.5 liter engine. Ill try to find it.
