Oh Daryll you don't need to suck up to me lol.

But ya I found the flares... After like 2 weeks. Maybe install them this weekend we'll see.

Wheels are a little tucked now lol. Probably gonna need like 15-20mm spacers hahaha

I put the timing gun on the car today and I needed to adjust the ignition timing offset from -1 to -4. I was locking it in at 10 degrees BTDC. I'm assuming that's the left "10" mark on the timing belt cover? It goes left to right 20 10 0 10

Your car is definitely top scoob worthy especially considering you do so much of the work yourself.

I want to get an old blown EJ series motor one time just for the sake of learning to pull it apart and try to put it back together.

Seriously? Your car has absolutely more than enough to be a part of top scoob. What's important is the fact that you did almost everything yourself, and when I say everything, I mean literally almost everything. That's a fact that has to be reiterated and clarified when you post. Moreover, your car is beautiful yet driven hard and on the track consistently, how can anyone hate on that.

Thx for the support guys maybe I'll enter now we'll see. Front flares aren't even on yet though haha.

Update from the tuning session. Motor is super smooth! Revs out really nice. Feels different from last time but possibly it's because I haven't really driven the car hard for a while. When I pulled the car out onto the highway with the high boost map and went WOT I remembered how it felt Puts a smile on my face every time

Only got it tuned to 25 psi with low timing because of some engine noise I don't know where is coming from. Thought it was knock but better safe than sorry. Got the compression test done so it ruled out bank to bank compression differences. Plugs are all gapped good. Maybe just valve train noise Did make good power for what it is... think somewhere around 530whp, I forgot. Was getting late into the day and didn't want to stay too long so we called it a day and I will hopefully go back soon!

90 min drive across the border to the shop. 4th trip this month!

and almost didn't make it to the gas station outside the shop

getting ready

strapped down (Dom likes to say he had to cut the door opening wider so the wing could fit through :lol)

Getting the DOM tune
