While waiting on my new heads from Maxwell Power I decided to do some heat protection and clean up the wiring a bit more in the engine bay.

Even with a big turbo blanket and heat wrapped up/dp, everything gets super hot!

Yeah, got some new heads that I'm going to use. Unported. Just +1mm valves, bowl blend, springs, cams.

More durability for road racing.

Before every season my friends buy track supplies at the local racing supply shop and they were all buying brake fluid so I told them to get me 2 bottles of rbf600 and every year I always forget that I have left overs... so this is what I found

I had CP Pistons do it.

Update from 2 weeks ago:

Porting

ferrea super alloy exhaust valves (hope these take the abuse), ferrea ss intake valves

head gasket back on, head studs cleaned out, cylinders cleaned

got rid of the 6 puck sprung disc and opted for a street disc

brisk racing spark plugs courtesy of maxwell power

cleaned my air filter for the first time

re-wrapped my dp

put the motor together wednesday night/thursday morning. got alignment thursday and broke in the motor. friday went down to doms for a tune. saturday track day!

oh and the results of the tune was 578whp/501wtq @ 26.5psi
conservative timing and boost
