I thought about a cut out but don't want to add anymore gizmo's to the car. I heard they fail and leak over time too.
Sound performance boost activated cutout. Best out there, simple, and will not leak. Ask me how I know?

I know it's along shot but does anyone know where to buy Goodridge 910 hose other than from Pegasus Racing?

https://www.pegasusautoracing.com/pr...p?Product=3490

Anyone who can source it cheaper or know anyone that can get it cheaper?

I will ask them too.

Sent an email to http://www.dragracehose.com

I read they have sales 15-20% so I'm sure he can beat pegasus.

Finally got to do some tig welding today. 10 mins of welding time so far.

16g 304ss. This is with like 40-42 amps. I think it's still too much? My friend with an old miller transformer machine is using 50 amps on the same metal. Maybe inverter machines have more output? No clue...

Did some more practice today.

Room where the magic happens

First time tigging on AC. Any welding experts here who can give me feedback?

This is 1/16" angle on 1/8" aluminum bar. 110 amps

Looking good!

I'm no welding expert, do it in my garage like you, but how much penetration you have there? Pictures makes it look like the bead is sitting on top or higher on the surface.

Maybe some more heat/amps will help?

Again just based off the picture, but well done nice and clean.

Not yet, MPS has been very busy. I'll be bringing the motor down soon.

Got a chance to do some PC logging and load it into virtual dyno. Only did two pulls. Took me a while to get the speed sensor reading exactly as it should. Verified via GPS to make sure it was 100% spot on.

Red line was done first to 7400rpm.

Blue line was done second to 8100rpm.

I don't know why boost was down for the second run. Was sitting on the side of the road for a while and was only rolling for like 30s before I did the pull. IAT was already down though. First run was leaner too... wonder if I have a clogged injector. Car does idle weird sometimes. Will have to check. Anyways, here are the runs.

Edit: Got a chance to analyze the data. Red line was running lean between 4k and 6k. Even hit 12.1 AF (target is 11.2) at one point and cylinder 3 and 4 wasn't happy. Engine noise jumped from 30 -> 470. Blue line is down 2-3 psi. Still trying to figure out why. Ignition angle was pretty much the same and boost target was the same as well. No ECT or IAT boost trims. Maybe the header/turbo was hotter on the first pull? Need to tweak the fueling for sure. Fuel filter could be dirty.. it is 3 years old.

Was in Portland with the girlfriend for valentines and did some tax free shopping while I was down there. Great food in downtown Portland! Didn't get to hit the sand dunes because of the weather.

Drove to Columbia River Mandrel and picked up pipes at their location on the way down to Portland. Cool little facility. I actually thought it was going to be much bigger.

Then stopped by to see Troy @ Swag Off Road. Swag Off Road

Got myself a vertical portaband table.

Even has a cool built in LED!

Stay tuned for cool stuff I hope to make

True. Took me a while to calibrate speed.

Vipec has it at 260. You told me yours was 250. I ended up using 255 to get it spot on.

A difference there might skew numbers
